Localization Database
- Collaborated with localization engineer to develop a web-based, proprietary localization database with the aim of supporting 14 languages and real-time updates into the game engine.
- This database was first used in Street Fighter 6 and received continuous updates due to feedback from that title during its localization.
- Won an internal company award for innovation in 2023.Scheduling Database
- Collaborated with localization engineer to develop a web-based scheduling application that allows managers to assign projects and tasks to teams and individuals.
- Used by managers to keep track of staff workload and scheduled tasks, and used by internal staff to avoid double-booking staff for tasks.
- Included features to allow for 5 year and 10 year roadmap planning of human resources.
- Reduced manager meeting time for assignments by 30%.
STREET FIGHTER 6

For Street Fighter 6, I was responsible for ensuring all 13 languages were ready to ship for launch.Achievements
- Managed 13 languages and passed first party certification with zero issues.- Collaborated with lead director and lead programmer to create the final 18 month roadmap before initial release.- Did not have to adjust budget or delay schedule for over two years. Overall cost was within 10% of approved budget.- Set up and managed all milestones and sprints for localization, English recording, and linguistic QA.- Working as a liason between Capcom and half a dozen companies for various in-game collaborations.- Scheduled all voice recording sessions for English VO.- Negotiated performance contracts for all four English commentators, all within budget.- Set up contracts and milestones for all outsource vendors used in localization and English recording.- Managed the 20-week linguistic QA.- Mentored a new Localization Director for the duration of the project.- Directly managed an internal localization group of 9 members and external group of 20 members during development.- Created storyboard for teaser trailers, used in both Japanese and English versions.

For both Monster Hunter: World and the Iceborne expansion, I was credited as Design Consultant and also worked in my usual Localization Director position. As one of the Localization Directors on the title, I was responsible for ensuring all 13 languages were ready to ship for launch.Achievements
- Pitched ideas and concepts to the director to revamp UI and controls to make the game more accessible to a new, global audience. Improvements to the UI and shooting mechanics came from my feedback.- Interpreted for the executive director during media interviews.- Managed 13 language localization and passed first party certification with zero issues raised.- Scheduled all voice recording sessions for English VO, and supported scheduling and management for European VO.- Set up and managed all milestones and sprints during the entire localization.- Set up contracts and milestones for all outsource vendors used in localization, English recording and FIGS recording.- Managed the 16-week linguistic QA, with no delay in schedule- Directly managed an internal localization group of 8 members during development.- Filmed and voice directed half a dozen 10 min+ developer diaries with the video team.- Scheduled milestone checks, and recorded voices for Witcher 3 collaboration update, with cooperation from CDProjekt RED.- Scheduled and filmed motion capture and voice recording for Monster Hunter live action movie collaboration.
MONSTER HUNTER:
LEGENDS OF THE GUILD

For the Netflix animated feature, Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild, I was credited as Creative Review, and also worked in a production manager capacity.Achievements
- Reviewed the scriptwriter's work from first until final draft to ensure it was aligned with the setting and style of the Monster Hunter series. We were able to bring it much more in line with the lore of the series, which fans noted in their reviews.- Worked with Capcom internal art teams to share 3D assets with production studio.- Facilitiated feedback between the production studio and creative director after 3D assets were reworked for the feature film.- Set up milestone deliveries for 3D asset deliveries from production studio.
